FIRST SPEAKER: Dr. Dubois. SECOND SPEAKER: Dr. Kinley.
DR. KINLEY: I’ll be glad when time comes for us to come together and, and study God out of His words.., there is much to be learned, much to be understood. And you know ever since you have been knowing anything at all about it, I have tried to tell you that there is, as Dr. Dubois or Bishop Dubois has already said, there is a negative and there is a positive, there is a right and there is a wrong, there is a devil and there is a God. There is such a thing as the Mystery of God and the Mystery of Iniquity, there is such a thing. There is such a thing as good and bad, no question about that. Now, it’s up to you to discern, that’s your job, now you either have to do that or else be deceived. I have told you many times, and I’m sure that most of you already know, for the many times that we have told you: this school is a result of the true word of God being prohibited in, being preached out in the world. Now I told you many times that God has sent me to preach, sent me to teach, bring you a special message, and I don’t want you to look at it ever that it is some of my preconceived and concoctions or notions, it’s not that. And then so far as stepping on your feelings and all them different kinda things, now you better get them in your pocket or somewhere cause I don’t care nothing whatsoever about your feelings and I don’t care who you are or where you come from; it doesn’t make me any difference. I wasn’t sent to respect men’s feelings and for the admiration of personalities. And I have even told you that I have had my pants kicked, I’ve been beat up bodily. And I doubt very seriously whether some of you have been through that much. I’ve had knives drawn on me and told me to my face, `you either take back what you said or I’ll kill you.’ Job’s all yours, I won’t do it. Now that’s the truth.
When I worked for the insurance company, just on a thing like that, on a, on a principle, you talking about a, a.., Bishop Dubois talking about a principle. Now a person would get sick, I’m a sick, I’m a sick claims inspector, I’m a home office representative. And there are those of you that are setting right in my presence that, that know that I was. And then somebody paying 50 cents a week, those are total disability policies. Now total disability means that you are sick in the bed, you’re sure enough sick and if you were not sick and confined to bed under the doctor’s care, you wasn’t entitled to no claim. You only got $12.50 a week for 50 cents, total disability. I went around people and they set up sometimes down in town, door all locked, `be back after a while.’ Claim due to be paid. Then I have to go back 2nd time, you can catch him at home. Now they’re supposed to be sick in the bed. Alright, when I do sign `em, I say `look, you’re not entitled to a sick claim.’ Said, `if you don’t pay me my money, ain’t nothing, ain’t no skin off of you.’ I said, `no, I’m not gonna pay you nothing, cause you’re not entitled to it.’ `What do you mean, you ain’t gonna pay me.’ I said, `I meant what I said.’ `well, I’ll get my gun, you’re gonna pay me…’ `Now look, you just might as well get to shooting, now I ain’t gonna pay you nothing.’ Get it?
My wife one time got sick, she had a job, she was working out. And I carried her on my book. I said my wife. I told her, `you better get the doctors.’ She had doctor Lockland come up there, Dr. Harris you know Dr. Lockland. Dr. Locklace told her to stay in bed, now that’s where you oughta be. So she got out of bed and went on to work. Then after a couple of days, said, `I feel better, child, I got to go to work.’ She got out of bed and went to work. I said that’s my wife. Don’t misunderstand me. When it come time for her to draw her claim, I said, `I ain’t paying you nothing, I’m gonna reject yours just like I did everybody else’s.’ I had to buy the groceries too, pay the house rent and everything. Yeah, I coulda paid her. She knew that I could, but I’m not gonna betray the trust, I don’t care who you are, where you come from.
Now, if I got up to preach and my mother was setting out there in the audience and I knew the truth would kill her, kill her dead, say, `mama, you’d better hit the door, I’m fixin’ to preach.’ Next day you’d find her dead. That’s mama. Now this is a serious thing with me. No fooling. Now that’s how it is with me. Isn’t that the way you thought about it Bishop?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Now you know, everybody in here that knows me, knows I don’t have nothing. I mean the wealth of this world. They know that. Well listen, let me tell you something. I could have been a millionaire even since I have been in Los Angeles, California. Got witnesses to prove it.
DR. GROSS: That’s right.
DR. KINLEY: And long before I come here, I could have been a multimillionaire, offered all kinds of things. Now you oughta be able to understand now that I’m not preaching for money, if you got any sense at all. Get it? Just won’t do it. Nobody at no time, has ever paid me one 10 cents for preaching a sermon. Now, if I won’t let you pay me for preaching sermons, then you know good and well you can’t pay me to stay off of your corns and your toes. You, you got what I mean, don’t you? I’m, I’m on your side too. I’m on your side, I’m not just getting over there, I’m on your side. I’m all for you, but as Dr. Dubois has said it, some of this medicine, it all don’t taste like cough syrup, cherry blend and all that kinda thing, some of it’s bitter herbs. Right?
STUDENT BODY: Right. DR. KINLEY: Right? STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: And let me say this, I am not trying to stay in harmony with anybody. I don’t have no apologies to make for it. I don’t have no pets. If you gonna love anybody, love yourself, and I, I, I, wouldn’t even pat my ownself on the back. It’s bitter, but nevertheless it’s true, that’s the way it really is. Now, Yahshua the Messiah said, `he that overcometh, he that overcometh, shall I grant to sit with me upon my Father’s throne,’ didn’t say Pete’s, didn’t say Paul’s. Didn’t say that.
Now we’ve talked with you about the Mystery of Iniquity, we’ve talked with you about the Mystery of God. Now I want to go back in the Bible for a few minutes. I told you that I had some things that I wanted to tell you before I left here. And while I’m on that and while you’re looking this up. I’m due to take a plane out, TWA, International airport, 10 o’clock, Wednesday morning, May the 11th. Now you know, I told you. All arranged and everything been made, I’m due to land in Ohio in Dayton airport that day 5, 5:10 Wednesday night, Sister Mary and I, my secretary.
Now, what I want you to look up, Isaiah 56:9, 10. Now this is what I want, now here’s why I don’t have to be careful. That’s why I said all that I said. Get the point? This is the reason why. Now if you wanna know what did I say that for, this is it. Alright, read.
READER: All ye beasts of the field, DR. KINLEY: All ye beast of the field. READER: come to devour, DR. KINLEY: Come to devour. READER: yea, all ye beasts in the forest. DR. KINLEY: All ye beasts in the forest. Alright, read on. READER: His watchmen are blind:
DR. KINLEY: Now, his watchmen. Now, what we’re talking about here, is down under the dispensation of the law. And under the dispensation of the law, we have the levitical priesthood. That was supposed to be there and divine or offer up sacrifices and burnt offerings for Israel. We had a lotta false prophets as well as true, few true and a lotta false. And from the high priest on down, so don’t you get offended, don’t you get offended, take your 10 cents worth out of there. From the high priest on down, clear on back to Adam, you remember that the law here, not talking about the promise, I said the law was given because of the transgression here.
STUDENT BODY: Right. That’s right.
DR. KINLEY: So therefore it pace on back to Adam. And that included everybody under Satan. Somebody said, `you be careful, now you be careful there, you mean to tell me I ain’t get..’ Yes, ma’m, Yes, sir. `Now you didn’t.., you can’t prove that.’ Yes I can, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. See that. Said, `maybe, maybe you might have misunderstood, you might have misapplied that.’ Well if I misapplied it, God didn’t. This is what He said, talking about from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the posterity, said He was the God of Israel. Dr. Gross, are you listening?
DR. GROSS: Yeah.
DR. KINLEY: Listen, visiting the iniquities of the fathers, Abraham was a father. Visiting the iniquities of the fathers upon the children. Are you listening now?
STUDENT BODY: Yes. DR. KINLEY: Abraham was the first generation, Isaac was the second. Is that right? STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Jacob was the third. And Jacob’s 12 sons, they were the 4th. God said, visiting the iniquity of the fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob upon the 3rd and 4th generation. Don’t tell me there wasn’t any. And God certainly did not come along and choose any of `em on their past reputation. How’m I doing?
STUDENT BODY: Alright.
DR. KINLEY: No, sir. He told them, Enoch, the 7th from Adam, prophesied, prophesied with the Holy Ghost too, I’m talking about. Abraham and Moses and all of the prophets prophesied under the influence of the Holy Ghost, every last one of `em, but I’ll have you to know that the gifts and callings were without repentance, wasn’t no job they done. It wasn’t their family tree. And Paul said they was all included under sin. Now you have to include `em all under there, under sin, for the sacrificial atonement of the Messiah, His blood to atone for all of `em, if they wasn’t all under there, then they couldn’t all be atoned for.
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: And I understand God like this, I understand that God purposed in the beginning, even before He made the man, the preparations for his restoration and redemption it was already made before He made the man. He’s not surprised at nothing that happened. Nobody’s got nothing to boast about, so don’t feel bad about it. Ain’t but one big I in this and that’s the I am that I am, that I am, not that you are that you are that you are. So now nobody got no, no right tiptoeing around and blowing and boasting about their holiness, cause all holiness is as filthy rags regardless of your family tree. `Me too?’ Yeah, you. You who? Whoever you are. Now that’s the way it is. Now let me see if I can do something with that. I understand the apostle Paul to say here in the 1st chapter of Ephesians that it was the purpose of God, He foreordained, get this word straight, and predestined all things back unto Himself, through and by His son. It didn’t say nothing about the pope there either. And there’s always somebody standing around, `I don’t like this,’ tell you the truth, I don’t, I, I, I’m not interested in what some bishop or some cardinal or some priest or some smart fella down the road, Buddha and Baha and all that kinda thing, Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Spencer and Huckley and all, I’m not interested in that, what they thought. Now, there’s always somebody said, `well, why don’t you come out to the meeting there, it’s wonderful…’ …. gonna blame me for this. Now if you wanna know what I think about Confucius and Buddha and Plato and Aristotle, Socrates and all them boys, don’t aggravate me with that jive and that junk. Alright, read.
READER: Then said Jesus unto them DR. KINLEY: Then said Jesus unto them READER: again DR. KINLEY: Again. READER: Verily, verily I say unto you. DR. KINLEY: Now, truly, truly I say unto you. READER: I am the door DR. KINLEY: I am the door. READER: all that ever came before me
DR. KINLEY: Listen, all that ever come before me, Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, everybody who’s ever come before Him. All that ever come before me, Plato, everybody.
READER: are thieves and robbers DR. KINLEY: are thieves and robbers READER: but the sheep did not hear them.
DR. KINLEY: But the sheep would not hear. Now don’t you go and tell nobody that I, that I said that. You get that story straight. Now listen, it’s an awful hard thing, for you to try to preach and teach something you don’t know something about yourself.
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Buddha’s hypothesis or theory is no better, and listen, a living dog is better than a dead lion. `I wanna hear what you got to say about it?’ You get the point? Times out for all that foolishness. Acts of the Apostles 4:12 and then I’ll rush on, in, in a minute. No, I haven’t forgot where you was reading. Alright.
READER: Neither is there salvation DR. KINLEY: Neither is there salvation, this is Peter preaching now. He said, neither is there salvation. READER: in any other:
DR. KINLEY: There is no salvation in any other. All of them that come before me they’re thieves and robbers, and there’s no salvation in the water.
READER: for there is none other name DR. KINLEY: For there’s no other name. READER: under heaven DR. KINLEY: Under heaven. READER: given among men, DR. KINLEY: Given among men. READER: whereby we must be saved.
DR. KINLEY: Whereby we must be saved. So I ain’t interested. Those are the things I’m trying to drive into these people’s heads. I told you time and time again. No, I don’t wanna hear Henry Clifford speak. Now if I don’t wanna hear him, you know good and well I don’t wanna hear you, got no time to be fooling with you. Who do you think you are anyhow? And on top of all that, you don’t know nothing to tell me nohow.
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Get the point? Now if you’d look over there in Jeremiah 31:31, you’d find out what I’m talking about. Now this is what Jeremiah 31:31 said. Alright, read.
READER: Behold, the days come the Lord DR. KINLEY: Behold the day come saith, Jeremiah STUDENT BODY: No. DR. KINLEY: Said the pope. STUDENT BODY: No. DR. KINLEY: Said Peter. STUDENT BODY: No.
DR. KINLEY: You see what I mean? Just ain’t no pussyfooting around with it at all. God said that and not Henry C. Kinley. Saith the Lord, the days, behold the days come saith the Lord. Alright, read.
READER: that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel DR. KINLEY: It’s Matthew, Mark, Luke and John will make a new testament with the house of Israel. STUDENT BODY: No. DR. KINLEY: Read on. READER: and with the house of Judah:
DR. KINLEY: And with the house of Judah. What’d He say the house of Israel and the house of Judah for? Why didn’t He just say one or the other? Get it over quick. Now after the reign of Solomon, Israel is split, she’s split up into 2, Israel had it’s headquarters at Samaria, Judah at Jerusalem. And the levites whom you were reading about. Yes, I do, I’m following that text, don’t you think I missed the text. I’m following the text. `What text?’ You got Isaiah 56:9,10, ain’t you holding it in your finger? Yes, indeed. Behold the days come saith the Lord, I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Now when Israel was split, 10 tribes, 1 tribe, I mean the 2 tribes (tribe of Levi and the tribe of Judah) made up those 2 tribes, of course there was a part of the tribe of Benjamin in there. But the other 10 tribes, the 10 tribes they had their headquarters at Samaria. When the old men and the young men’s council, they split and the 10 tribes was ruled from Samaria. That’s the reason why you have the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah. They split. You get the point? It’s wonderful, it’s wonderful to know something about what you’re reading about, ain’t it. So then God said, `I’ll make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.’ Now when they came out of Egypt down here, all of `em, the whole 12, during the reign of Sol.., Saul, he was the first king, David was the second, Solomon was the third, 40 years a piece, 120 years. They ruled all of the tribes, David, Saul, David, and Solomon, headquarters at Jerusalem. And after the decease of Solomon, Rehoboam and Jeroboam, the kingdom was split up and the 10 tribes was ruled from Samaria and the others from Jerusalem. So therefore God said in order to include all of `em back in there, said, `I’ll make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.’ Now do you see what.., do you see why He said it? I, I, I wanna try to touch that back there, you brought this up, out there on the boat fishing, got off of the boat, and some things he didn’t understand about it. It’s all right if I tell `em?
MAN: Yes, sir.
DR. KINLEY: Now you the Messiah choose 12 apostles. Now apostle means eye witness, 12 men. Now Judas, he was the devil right from the straight, right from the beginning. Choose 12 of `em, and 1 of `em was a devil and He knew it. He wasn’t surprised, wasn’t a mistake. And I’ll have you to know too, that in getting these deacons, one of them was a bad actor too, rotten egg. I’ll tell you something about that one of these days. And there was 7 deacons. Now if it’s a daily ministration, now any idiot oughta be able to see this. Now if it’s a daily ministration and there’s not but 7 days in the week, then what’s the need of having but having 7 deacons. Now what was they chosen for, and who chose the deacons any how? The apostles, after the resurrection and the ascension of Christ, they chose the deacons. What for? Because the daily, in the daily ministrations of widows and the orphans was neglected. They done sold their properties and everything and then come up there to Jerusalem and laid it all at the apostles feet. And the apostles said, `now we don’t have time to quit preaching the word of God to serve tables, you look out 7 men full of the Holy Ghost ___ in whom we will appoint over this business.’ Do you see that?
STUDENT BODY: Yeah.
DR. KINLEY: Well now they got that all twisted up, now what the preachers, what the deacons are doing is, `I think we’re gonna have to get rid of that pastor, that preacher.’ He don’t know his place and reverend don’t know his. In fact you don’t need no deacons now. And the reason why you don’t need no deacons is because the relief has got it now. `No, I haven’t got it, I believe I haven’t got it.’ Now then, listen now, listen, I told you what the deacons was chosen for. I told you who choose the deacons. Is that right?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Alright. Now here you come up with your stupidity and your colossal ignorance because you don’t know what it’s all about. You don’t know nothing about the new covenant or the new testament, you don’t know that Israel was split up, 2 factions; and 1 faction of it is carried on down yonder to Mesopotamia and Assyria and Nineveh, Media, 100, about 111 years before the other 2 tribes went to Babylon. You don’t know that. Some little ignorant preacher standing right here, he don’t realize what it’s all about. Now when it comes time for that prophesy of Daniel or in other words the 70 weeks was given. And when that period come to an end, Darius, Cyrus, and Artexerxes, you got it there in Daniel, gave commandment, and they were ruling the world just like Nebuchadnezzar ruled the world. And then they were released from Babylon. Now if they’re ruling the world and the jews was down in Assyria, Media, Babylon, Nineveh, dispersed; and they’re supposed to come back to Jerusalem, to build Jerusalem again unto the Messiah. You have it there in the 2nd chapter of Acts of the Apostles. 70 weeks or 490 years are determined upon the city to make an end of sin and bring in everlasting righteousness to reach unto the Messiah, the redeemer. The one under.., whose name there’s no other under heaven because He was the one. It wasn’t Plato, it wasn’t Baha, and it wasn’t Buddha, it wasn’t Socrates. Now them’s all before. And He said, now that’s what He said about it, all them that come before Me. He was the real Messiah, He was the one that God had foreordained and predestinated even before He made the man; in fact it was God Himself incarnated in a body, He was the redeemer. Do you understand what I’m talking about? Nobody else could do that job but Him. He told Peter and them that they’d be killed, but their blood didn’t atone for him. Yes, indeed, millions killed, before and since, but they’re blood didn’t atone. Yes, indeed. Ah, it’s wonderful, ain’t it doc. You see that now? Let me, let me pull the trigger on this right quick and then I’ll move. Well now look, I told you who choose the deacons, I told you that God made a covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, I told you that the headquarters of the 10 tribes was at Samaria, I told you that the headquarters was at Jerusalem, that’s were the temple was built. They had a synagogue, great big synagogue down in Samaria. And after His resurrection, He told the boys it necessitated His death and His suffering to bring about the fulfillment of that which was written in the Law and in the Prophets. Is that right?
STUDENT BODY: Right. DR. KINLEY: Explained it to `em; in other words He give `em the keys to the kingdom. Now are you listening? STUDENT BODY: Yes.
DR. KINLEY: There in the first chapter so you can find it. There in the first chapter of Acts of Apostles, He didn’t forget, and apparently He meant what He said. He said unto them, now `ye shall be witnesses unto Me in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.’ Now you tarry. Tarry, where? In Jerusalem. What for and why? Wait till you get the Holy Ghost, that’s necessary. Why? Because this is where the 10 tribes or the full entire 12 tribes is ruled from in the first place, so start here. This is the tribe of Judah, start here, Jerusalem, Judea, this tribe out of which Messiah come. Now you, you left not the deacons, the deacons didn’t follow Him around over the Palestinian hills, watch Him fulfill prophesy and law. Am I getting over there now? They wasn’t chosen to go out and carry out the great commission, God didn’t choose `em to do that. And listen, while I’m on that score, neither did the apostles choose `em to go out there and preach. You, you, you, you stay in the Book, stay right in the book right there; and you go philosophying around, and flittering around and you get the thing all messed up. And He told them, said, `now you shall be witnesses unto Me in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, and the utmost parts of the earth.’ Is that right?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Now when the apostle Paul, Saul. Let me straighten that out too while I’m at it. His name in hebrew is Saul, in greek it’s Paul. Saul was born at Tarsus, ___ and Tarsus is the capital of it. That’s a Roman province and that’s why he said he was free born, and that’s why he made the appeal to Caesar (God working out His purpose through here, He ain’t making no mistake.) Now you watch it. You got your eye on it now? You got a hold of it tight? Saul of Tarsus, you got that?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: You holding it now? Don’t let it go. Many gentiles at Tarsus, many of `em, mixed up up there, under Roman jurisdiction.
(TAPE 1 SIDE 2)
DR. KINLEY: Now watch now, I’m gonna move. Now that’s Saul from Tarsus, he goes to Jerusalem, he, he’s a eunuch, therefore he.., get Deuteronomy, it said to the law and to the prophecy, 23rd chapter of Deuteronomy and verse 1, 56th chapter of Isaiah and verse 3. Yes I do know what I’m talking about. Yes indeed. So Saul of Tarsus, you got Tarsus now? I said Saul from Tarsus went to Jerusalem, couldn’t enter into the congregation of the assembly because he was a eunuch, therefore he had to be tutored and raised up under Gamaliel, one of the 70 of the Sanhedrin Council, was educated under them. Do you understand me now? You see that now? Now you watch, cause I’m fixing to backfire. Doc Gross sees it, don’t you Doc? Now do you remember that before He ascended, He didn’t tell them who was to take Judas’ place, who by transgression fell. Get it?
STUDENT BODY: No. DR. KINLEY: And they cast lots and chosen Matthias. Right? STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Now I know theologians that have questioned about the apostle Paul, that he was supposed to take the place. Now you, you got that, you’re holding on to Saul now? You got it tight. You got Saul from Tarsus. You got it tight now? Don’t let it go. You got him tutored at Jerusalem under Gamaliel. Right?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Here’s his own words, Saul from Tarsus, said, `when it pleased God that separated him from his mother’s womb and put him in the gospel and to reveal himself unto me.’ He told King Agrippa and Herod, `as before this having been brought up at the Sanhedrin Council,’ he said, `I truly thought that within myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of the Messiah.’ And for that reason they sent him out to persecute and he said… Watch out now, watch, keep your eye on Judas, keep your eye on Saul, keep your eye on Pete, don’t let `em get away, cause if you do you won’t see how it fit in there. Don’t forget, He wasn’t forgetting a thing when He ascended and He didn’t tell `em who was taking.., and you know what they did. They cast lots to see who would take his place; or in other words, pulled straws to see who would take Judas place and the lot fell on Matthias. And right there is where he ended at. Get it now? Now listen, now this law and prophecy must be, just be fulfilled. These are not mistakes. When Israel, these 10 tribes were carried down in Assyria, when they were carried down there, God sent a man down there, Jonah I’m talking about. Are you holding on?
STUDENT BODY: Yes.
DR. KINLEY: You haven’t let go? You holding on to Saul of Tarsus. You got that now? Now you got it that He didn’t no mistake about telling `em who would take his place, fell. You got it when it come time for Him to be born and put it in the manger. You got that? I’m talking about Saul. Now you got Pete’s place figured out there. And Peter’s name was Jonah, 21st chapter of John, 16th chapter of Matthew. Now I’m talking about all 3 of them boys. Now when it come time for God to send Jonah down to Nineveh, 40 days Nineveh shall be overthrown. Right?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Had you ever thought about these 40 days and when He’s raised from the dead here. Had you forgot that old Jonah was out there on the boat, all night, Peter I’m talking about, fishing and said he hadn’t caught nothing. Have you forgot that the soldiers cast lots and throwed Jonah overboard in the sea. Is that right?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: And a big fish swallowed him up. Have you forgot that? Don’t you know that’s got to be fulfilled, Jonah, Jonah was a prophet. Are you listening now? Sure you’re listening? That was not a carnal ordinance that was given to Israel to eat fish on Friday. You don’t have no ordinance here. This is Jonah that’s overthrowed in there. Now He, Messiah, after they had fished all night, told `em to fish on over on the other side of the boat. After those days into their hearts will I put my law. And He’s fulfilling every jot and every tittle of prophecy. This is the Lord that’s incarnated in that body that prepared the great big fish that swallowed up Jonah. This is the Lord that prepared the fish. Say listen Doc, let me tell you this, even before He ascended, He breathed on `em, that’s the same God that breathed the breathe of Life in the nostrils of Adam, the same God that prepared that fish with Jonah back there. All of it’s got to be fulfilled. Don’t leave out none of it. Still holding on to Saul. You ain’t let go. Don’t you let go cause if you do, you’re ruined. Jonah, Simon Peter, his name was Jonah. Look Wallace, why is it that you’re so blind that you can’t see Jonah just go right straight on through there and get on that boat with Him. You see the point? That’s no accident and neither is this Saul business any accident. These.., the accidents.., we’ve got to preach the reality of the thing and that’s what you have to follow, that’s what it is that we’re reading about down here in Isaiah 56:9 and 10. I’ll be back to that in a minute or two. Told you I had some things to tell you before I went away. Now that’s Saul from Tarsus. Now Saul come from Tarsus. When Christ fulfilled the Law and the Prophecy after His resurrection, there’s Simon Peter, his, his real name was Jonah. And he cast himself into the sea, just like they overthrowed Jonah in the sea. Jonah went to Nineveh, what for? Don’t you see the 10 tribes that’s carried to.., down there? They’re down there among the gentiles, that’s why He carried `em down there. And you remember the king down there, repented in sack cloth and ashes. That wasn’t the king of Assyria, that was the king that was carried captive down there and they was, in that, in that land down there. They knew that they had got taken captive to Assyria for their disobedience, as God had told Moses to tell `em if when they got into Canaan’s Land, if they didn’t obey Him, He’d punish `em 7 times in their land. Ain’t that right? And He punished `em 7 times in their own land and then took `em on to Assyria. Finally by and by He said about 111 years after that, He sent to tribe of Judah off on down into Babylon. Yes, I know what I’m talking about, I know how the purpose of God come through there. And I don’t have to do no apologizing and pussyfooting around about it. You see that? Now look, Jonah got on board (watch out), Jonah got on board. Where’d he get on at?
STUDENT BODY: Joppa.
DR. KINLEY: Joppa. Supposed to be going to Nineveh. What’d he do? Paid his fare, Tarsus. Get that now? Tarsus. Jonah from Tarsus, paid his fare to Tarsus, Paul, he’s from Tarsus. Did you get that? Jonah’s trying to go where he, Paul come from. The man from Tarsus, where Jonah’s trying to go, he’s there, he’s brought up at the foot of Gamaliel and qualified now to take Judas’ place who by transgression fell. You get it?
STUDENT BODY: Yes.
DR. KINLEY: Oh, it’s nice when you understand, ain’t it? He’s made a minister of the gentiles, just like Peter was a minister of the circumcision. The jews, they’re dispersed and scattered among the gentiles, and his office, cause he was a minister of the gentiles. Therefore he went to preach to the gentiles. Have you got anything thus far?
STUDENT BODY: Yes.
DR. KINLEY: Now that’s kept me real busy. Now watch, you holding on now? You holding on. I’m not done with this case. Now if you can see that far, then you oughta be able to see that when this man from Tarsus, Saul from Tarsus, being sent out by the Sanhedrin Council with letters of authority to persecute the.., and he told Timothy, he was before a blasphemer. And Judas, he couldn’t have been nothing else but a blasphemer. It’s one blasphemer that takes the other blasphemer’s place, but Judas, he was blaspheming that the scriptures might be fulfilled and Paul is blaspheming because he’s ignorant in unbelief. Ain’t that right?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: And didn’t know no better. And he said , `I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly. And so far as his guilt, he was innocent because under the law such adulterers and what not and false.., prognosticators, they were to be put to death, such should be stoned to death that might put away sin among you and that’s what Paul’s aim was to do. And then God brought him on in there at the right time to take the place of Judas who by transgression fell. And there wasn’t no forgetting about it at all, it just, at the right time. And then them eunuchs, middle wall of partition is broke down between the jews and the gentiles. 7 years after the middle wall of partition is really broke down in His flesh on the cross and then that’s 7 years that temple was in building, that temple is a figure of His body. And in that temple was a court of the jews and of the gentiles. 7 years in the building so 7 years after ___ ___ gentiles and Peter said at the council, said the gentiles first heard the word of the Lord at his mouth, that was at Caesarea, not Rome. And that was in 41. You get it? Yes ma’m, yes, sir. Could you follow through on that?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Now watch, now I’m coming back. Trace it now. Real quick and real short. Remember I told you the deacons, they were told to serve tables and when this Saul of Tarsus was persecuting then the deacons and them was scattered abroad. Apostles, He told them to tarry there at Jerusalem. You stay here, you get in here and preach. What’s the use of him writing? He’s alright told him that he was gonna get killed anyhow. He pointed out to each one of `em and told `em what’s gonna happen to `em. Well, what’d He do that for? Fulfilling that, Jacob telling his sons what’s gonna happen to them in the latter days. What’s the use of you cutting out and running in and out of here. You just might as well stay. And now you got in the Acts of the Apostles there, he said they were all scattered abroad except the apostles, they stayed right there in Jerusalem. Didn’t go no where. Steven, he cut out and got killed. Philip, down to Samaria. Now that ___. Nobody down there has got the Holy Ghost in Samaria and the reason why didn’t nobody down there get the Holy Ghost was because Philip wasn’t commissioned to go and preach. And Christ had told them, them 11, `you will be the witnesses down there.’ Yes, Philip went down there and preached and people were healed of all kinds of sickness and diseases. And they looked at the miracles which he done, and the man did have the Holy Ghost. We’re not arguing about that. But now we got 12 tribes, 12 heads. And these are the deacons, deacons was not there. Everybody can’t be boss. Now then they say that Peter.., that Philip was carrying out the great commission, `go ye therefore in all the world, preach the gospel to every creature, he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved and he that believeth not shall be damned,’ said that’s the reason Philip baptized the Ethiopian eunuch, he carrying out the great commission. Well now you tell that stuff to somebody that don’t know no different. ___ don’t work in my case. Get the point? Now you said that the great commission said `go ye in all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’ And you say that Philip, he was carrying out the great commission. Now it says, listen to me, said they were scattered, went everywhere and preached (are you listening), said none, N O N E, none but the jews O N L Y. So he’s ___ himself ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___. The Peter got up and confirmed the ___ over there in the 15th chapter of Acts of the Apostles, and got up at the council and everybody was present and he said that God told choose me ___ some time ago that the gentiles first heard the word of the Lord at his mouth. And I know he went to Caesarea after the Ethiopian eunuch was baptized. And I know.., and look, if Philip was carrying out the great commission going in all the world to preach the gospel to every creature (you listen at me), if that’s what he was doing, then you tell me why he couldn’t preach to Cornelius’ house, Cornelius’ house, that’s his home that’s where he lives too, that’s where went to. And the men that run him out of town, this Saul went past his house, with his.., when he was sent to Rome, Acts 21:8. No, sir, you’re gonna read this out of your Bibles. You ain’t going out of here and say that man said it. Dr. Gross is recording. Acts 21:8.
READER: And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, DR. KINLEY: The next day we that were of Paul’s company. READER: departed DR. KINLEY: departed. READER: and came unto Caesarea:
DR. KINLEY: And came unto Caesarea. Now wait a minute. They didn’t say Paul, said Paul’s company. Now what they did and they had told him that he could go to Rome because he said he appealed to Rome, so his company that.., you, you sail from Caesarea to Rome and that’s why Caesarea is a Roman headquarters, that’s where Cornelius lived, centurion down there. You follow it now? You following me? ___ ___ Now if Philip was preaching the gospel, but let me put this in first. What they did, they took Paul since he made that appeal and he got to Caesarea, his company abode there and they took Paul back up to Jerusalem. What’s that for? `We’re just a little bit too hasty in telling you, you can go to Rome. And look we don’t wanna send you down to Rome without we knowing what, what it’s all about, so then we’d rather hear your case here first so we know all about that.’ So then he appears before Felix, Festus and Agrippa, that’s king and priest and governor. Said, `now you’re permitted to speak for yourself, we’ll hear your case, and when we get through with hearing your case.’ They said, `well, if you just hadn’t have said,’ that’s the 26th chapter of Acts of the Apostles, `if you just hadn’t of said it, that you appealed unto Caesar, we could have set you free, but since you appealed to Caesar to Rome you go, look out, look out for God there.’ He’s sending him on back into the beast, Paul’s going to Rome to the gentiles, down in the feet. Pete took Mark and goes to Babylon. John, he goes on out on the Island of Patmos. And that’s in the abdominal cavity. The Most Holy Place, the abdominal cavity or the Holy Place, and the Outer Court. And there’s John on the Isle of Patmos, that’s the reason why they didn’t get him, when he killed James, Herod stretched forth his hand and killed James, the brother of John, but he couldn’t do a thing with John, John escaped that, he killed James and put Peter in prison and buckled him down. And I’ll have you to know that that’s 10 years from the AD 33 1/2, it’s just 10 years, 10, 10 is concrete. 5 is abstract. And 10 years from that, said that they come and stole the Messiah away, now who come and stole Peter out of prison? The same angel is down in that old Philippian jail, that same angel, and that’s Mike too, I mean he’s a warrior, everybody stands back when Mike’s coming through. Gabriel, he’s making announcements, but Mike, he don’t come like that, he come, comes down through there and everybody stands back. And that’s what ___ ___ ___ that ___ and soldier down there and he went on there. ___ ___ buckle on your sandals and… Chains fell off and the ___ opened and he went on out of there. Oh, it’s wonderful. I, I, I’m watching that purpose. Now, Paul’s company, while he’s up at Jerusalem before Herod Agrippa, Felix, Festus and Agrippa, king, priest and ___ up in Jerusalem. Paul’s company was waiting on him down here at Caesarea. Now read.
READER: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist,
DR. KINLEY: Now ___ everything but ___. Now they entered into the house of Philip the evangelist. Now Paul done run him out of town. Where’s he going? You said `he was going in all the world to preach the gospel.’ That’s what you said. You said he was carrying out the great commission. If he’s carrying out the great commission going in all the world to preach the gospel to every creature well why didn’t he preach to Cornelius down there, there wasn’t no need for Peter going from Joppa to Caesarea to preach to Cornelius, he was right there and it was after he done got run out of town, and he was right at home, right across the street. Why if he was going carrying out the great commission, why what’s the matter he didn’t go over there and take care of it.
READER: which was one of the 7; DR. KINLEY: Now, which was one the 7. READER: and abode with him.
DR. KINLEY: That abode with him. Can you answer that? Get it now? When you know what it’s all about and you know the purpose of God and how it’s being carried out. Now then, I’m back now, I’ll finish up and then we’ll go home. Isaiah 56.
READER: His watchmen are blind:
DR. KINLEY: Now his watchmen are blind. They don’t know what it’s all about. Bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bla, bla, blib, blab, blib, blab. You understand? His watchmen are blind.
READER: They are all ignorant,
DR. KINLEY: They are all just as ignorant ___ well somebody said, `well look here, you throwing them stones at me.’ What are you.., how come you got offended? You’re smart ain’t you? If you’re smart, how come you’re getting offended? Said his watchmen are blind. The Messiah said, `if the blind lead the blind, they’ll all fall in the ditch together.’ That’s what He said. Get it?
READER: they are all dumb dogs,
DR. KINLEY: Now you see, don’t say I said that. Now don’t start no stuff. They are all dumb dogs, this watchmen. Alright, read on.
READER: they cannot bark; DR. KINLEY: Now he can’t preach, he can’t even bark. Alright, read. READER: sleeping,
DR. KINLEY: Sleeping. He’s just sound asleep when he comes to the knowledge of God and the purpose of God. Now how in the world can you ___ except He be sent, and shall they hear without a preacher and how shall ye believe on, how shall they believe on Him in whom they have not heard. His watchmen just laying around up here, he’s asleep ___ ___ ___ ___ and he’s got to talk something about Plato and Aristotle and Socrates, and Spencer and Huckley, and ___ and all that kinda stuff. No man goeth unto the.., I am the door to the sheep hold, no man goeth unto the Father but by the Pope.
STUDENT BODY: No. DR. KINLEY: He’s got the keys, whatsoever he bind on earth, is bound in heaven. STUDENT BODY: No.
DR. KINLEY: You see what I’m talking about. They don’t know what the keys is, is the knowledge of the law and the prophets. That’s the thing that will set you free. And the man that’s preaching with the Holy Ghost, that’ll set you free every time, but them blind, them dumb dogs that don’t know the purpose of God and don’t understand how it works, the Mystery of God but all swirled up here in the Mystery of Iniquity, you’re dumb dogs, you sleep lying down, loving to slumber. And you, you got a real slim chance of learning what it’s all about. And you setting up at home on the seat of your pants thinking you’re gonna get straightened out after a while, well listen, there ain’t, there ain’t nobody that much out there in the world preaching the gospel, now how are you gonna get straightened out? These are the last days, this is the last go around when all the satanic forces that was cast out of heaven and set loose and there ain’t about but 12 men to evangelize the world. False prophets on every street corner but you better go ahead and read on.
READER: Yea, they are greedy dogs
DR. KINLEY: Yea, they are greedy dogs. Now listen here, how many of you people have got sick and tired, and I don’t know whether you know about this, them 66 million in the United States of America, I’ll bring the records down and show you, that don’t come to church, that don’t go to church, not because they don’t believe in God, 66 million that don’t go. And a part of that number that you got on the books, they go to church for business reasons to socialize, I’ll bring the records. ___ down here and show you. And I told you, sit here on the floor and told you many times, now if you, you are so busy and you don’t wanna ___ ___ you go and I’ll tell `em, get in the Roman Catholic Church, making merchandise of men’s souls and all of them kinda things. Prophets asleep there, his watchmen are blind, they’re all dumb dogs. They’re nothing but asleep lying down, what, what else you got there.
READER: Yea, they are greedy dogs
DR. KINLEY: Yea, they are greedy dogs, every time you.., this one is for the pope and this is on the building for him, passing the basket around. This is the preacher’s anniversary. Now the people just done like, sick and tired of that foolishness. They won’t go to church. I don’t blame `em. They’re greedy dogs. They can never have enough. Read.
READER: and they are shepherds that cannot understand:
DR. KINLEY: They are shepherds that cannot understand. One preaching one thing over here and another one over yonder and another one over yonder. There’s no harmony, there’s no unity among them. All the prophets that preached, every last one of `em that ever preached with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven, all of `em agreed, one never disputed with the other. You see what I’m talking about? And they wasn’t split up at all. Alright.
READER: they all look to their own way, DR. KINLEY: They all look to the way of the Lord. STUDENT BODY: No. DR. KINLEY: Look to their own ways. READER: every one for his own gain, DR. KINLEY: Every one for his own gain. READER: from his quarter.
DR. KINLEY: From his quarters. Now, I didn’t write that book. Now if that gets on anybody’s feet, that you ___ your pastor’s feet, ___ over his feet. Everyone looking for his gain from his quarter. Now look, I have to tell you this. Now I just have to do it. I said I have to do it. You remember the only instance that they claim that they ever seen Messiah wrought or grief stricken in anger at all during his whole entire ministerial career is when He took the cords and tied `em together and went up into the temple, in the Outer Court out there and He overthrew the money changers tables. Do you remember that?
STUDENT BODY: Yes.
DR. KINLEY: And they were selling those, they were selling those beasts, sacrificial beasts up that’s here, was making `em handy up there, and they was commercializing on things of heaven. And Christ overthrew the tables, the money changers, I said up there in the temple. Now you keep your feet in, keep your feet in, under the chair, cause I will be back, be right down on it. Keep your feet under there. He plaited them cords and overturned the money changers tables and He said to them, He said, `it is written, My Father’s house shall be called the house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves, you’ve made it a commercial thing, and them sacrifices to be offered for many sins, the daily sacrifice, morning, noon and evening sacrifice, you’re here speculating with robbing somebody for `em, and you just made it a regular den of, of thieves, robbers up here in the temple, up here in the house of God.’ Right?
STUDENT BODY: Right.
DR. KINLEY: Oh, Lord, look it here. Look what you got now. Over here in Babylon. Now they quit changing the sacrifices, the sacrificial beasts, and now they’re making merchandise of men’s souls, praying prayers or pray you out of purgatory and all of that kind of Babylon or confusion. Your seat, your pew and everything costing, the building from.., just making a jackass and making merchandise of men’s souls. And you walking around trying, said, `I’m trying to help the Lord, I got to pay off the mortgage on the church.’ And you can’t see that the precious blood of Christ Jesus hanging out there on Golgotha, your freedom and your deliverance was purchased ___ ___ ___ or purchased with His own blood. And you around talking, every time a fool talks and these blind dumb dogs robbing you of everything that you can get your hands on. So don’t you go out there and put it on me. Don’t say I said it. I told you I was on your side. And every time I see one of them hypocrites, and every time I see one of them lying dogs down on the street corner and around here and all, I’m gonna tell you all. Now you can cast stones behind if you want to, cuss all you want to, call yourself defending your church and all like, this, that and the…., you can do that all you please, but I told you the truth. ___ over Babylon and said, `Babylon, the mother of harlots, or Babylon the Great have all…,’ And the angel flew out and said, `come on out of her, come on out of her my people that you be not partaker of her sins and receive of her plagues.’ And I’m trying to tell you about making, gambling with your souls and all of this different kinda thing, call theirself praying you out, calling themselves they’re working with you and all these different kinda things. And then I stand up here and when I tell you about somebody gonna blow my brains out, way back yonder years ago ___ I knew anything about the Mystery of God, I’d sit up and preach the exact same thing and the pastors of the Church of God said to me, `have you sinned, brother Kinley, you know just as well I do these people are putting nothing in the collection now and every time I get ready to go someplace you have to run your hands in pocket and pay my fare, now here you are telling them about this money changers business and putting money in here and putting something in the churches and all. I ain’t getting nothing out of it now, and here you standing around here preaching, like your preacher. You got to get this thing shut up. Now listen, I’ve been preaching 35 years till most of you were setting around under my feet. You know me, did you ever hear of me at any time get up here and beg you for a dime since you been with me, knowing me ___ ___ ___ ___ before he come down here and preach and tell you the truth and help you save your soul, then you close the thing down, go on home and set down and go to hell, get a free ride. Rise and let us go hence.
